Environmental stack flow emission measurement.
Due to environmental legislative and regulatory requirements, stack emissions will become more used for reporting of plant efficiency or stack emission monitoring.
The installation of a PITOBAR in a stack can be done either as a full penetration PITOBAR or for very large stacks, more than 2,5 meters in diameter, it is possible to enter with a 40% PITOBAR from each side of the stack.
For dirty or greasy off-gas flows, the PITOBAR can be installed with a purge system, which automatically blows the inside channels of the PITOBAR in order to keep the measuring holes clean and prevent them from clogging.
Pressure and temperature compensation, for direct mass flow measurement.
By installing a multivariable transmitter it is possible to measure the mass flow directly. The multivariable transmitter works as a combined pressure, differential pressure and temperature transmitter. The signals from the three sensors will then be computed inside one transmitter and give the actual mass flow or compensated actual volume flow.
